Went in for coffee and cake, it was so good we returned the next day for a seafood platter. Excellent food cooked by Pappy, and fantastic friendly service from Bruce. The owners are lucky to have such good staff.

What an amazing time we had here. A beautiful setting. What a lovely cute restaurant with amazing view. We had the most delicious seafood platter for 2... and best of all we could go there with our 2 dogs! Excellent and friendly service. Well worth a visit for this amazing food!

Brutal Went here Sunday afternoon. The server saw us as we approached and turned away without acknowledgement. It seemed like she was annoyed we were there. When asked if we could be served she scorned and aggressively informed us that she was drinking her tea. She then turned her back again complaining to a colleague. Her colleague seemed to take her side immediately without even speaking to us and proceeded to get into an argument about customer service with my partner. The server then angrily took our order and as we waited outside for the food we could see her inside through the glass shouting and complaining about us to her colleague. I can only assume Saturday night had been busy and working a Sunday lunch had been too much pressure. This was clearly a part time student who hasn't chosen a customer service position as a career. The fish arrived drenched in grease with only a few chips under it. I'd hoped the food would have made up for the abysmal service but it was just brutal.

The lobster shack was the reason for our North Berwick trip and whilst we missed it today, we were happy to make it to the sister takeaway here. Seafood chowder was simply the best I’ve had since Cape Cod! and the lobster was amazing too! A MUST stop if you’re here in town.

Nice little fish restaurant on the front in North Berwick by the harbour, views of the sea, beach and bass rock, fairly priced, good quality fish and chips, a small craft beer selection and toilets. This place is tiny, and due to its shape it's essentially one square corridor wrapping around the kitchen and toilets in the centre. Views from every seat. In peak season I imagine this gets fairly busy, but on a quiet winter evening it's just perfect, as a couple, a small or large group likely ten or so. Staff were friendly all though not always visible. Go check it out.
