This place is amazing. It’s the best way to escape from city life and spend a few days in what feels like your own cosy home. Attention to details is impeccable. Anything you can think of has been taken care of - it’s exactly how you would do it, but even better. Even its bathroom was featured in top 10 UK bathing experiences :) Spending an evening by the fireplace will easily be one the best highlights during your stay. Don’t hesitate - you’ll have a great time, whether that’s a romantic getaway or a family trip.

The cottage was possibly the most perfect self-catering place I've stayed in!!! All us girls, were over-the-moon with all the details, such as the quality of linens, the interior designs, the letter-headed maps and we had an enjoyable time, a perfect escape from our husbands! :) It was so romantic and beautiful, will be sure to visit again!

This is a stunning cottage. I can't imagine anything better as a long weekend escape from London. Old english charm blended perfectly with modern luxury. Such style, taste and attention to detail. And the location! The most divine village and countryside Devon has to offer. Ramble on Dartmoor, swim & afternoon tea at Bovey Castle, early evening drinks in the pub with wonderful local types who on the last visit landed us a brace of pheasant with full instructions! The cottage's well equipped kitchen thus came in very handy. Settling after dinner in front of a film and crackling open fire was then all we needed. What more could we want? Well in fact we got to sleep in a bed like a cloud! Just another perfect day. Our fourth visit is over now overdue!\ufeff
This is a lovely cottage to stay in. Beautiful views day and night and the village it is located in is a brilliant community.
Stayed here for our honeymoon. This is a beautiful, well appointed cottage. Loved the open fire, big copper bath and comfortable bed. Kitchen more than adequate to cater for a couple/ small family. Bonus points for Sonos system in all rooms! Holiday cottage membership to bovey castle was a bonus. Excellent local pub had recently reopened and offers great food. Can't recommend this cosey, romatnic getaway highly enough.

I spent an idyllic few days at Moorland view in late April. Lovely little cottage, amazing beds, funky bathroom and Sonos sounds in every room, with a pretty garden for eating and lounging in. It's a short walk up through the forrest up onto the moor which offers spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and great star gazing if it's clear at night. The local pub (a minutes walk away) seems very friendly and served good food. A perfect base for some leisurely days exploring the beautiful Devonshire countryside, will definitely come back.
