Absolutely the WORST!!! (-1) First observation was the signature huge American Flag... Tattered and torn... Disgraceful! The tables were so worn through the Formica it was porous and most likely germ ridden. The booth tables had been leaned on so much, their uneven surface would have allowed food to slide off. The women's bathroom door was broken and would not close. The bathroom floors were sticky on my shoes, and black mold grew by the ventilation vent, with obvious water damage causing the tiles to sag. The walls of the second booth with a much more level table was also worn through the Formica table top and the walls were splattered with food bits, months or years old. After waiting 45 minutes for our order to be brought out, we walked out knowing the kitchen, which had no real corners on the floor (filled with black gunk) mopped in to create completely rounded corners! YUK!!! The manager did nothing but shuffle the filthy menus, when deep cleaning was needed. Everywhere!! Minnesota Department of Health has been contacted, as well at the Perkins/Marie Callendar Corporate notified this establishment is not fit for food consumption! Service was also the worst we've EVER experienced, after frequenting Perkins since the 1970's, and having stopped at every Perkins between Minnesota and the east coast! SHUT IT DOWN!!
Well I'm here now and i have to tell you the bathroom is filthier than a NYC mid manhattan train station toilet!!! The floor itself is filthy in the restaurant i ordered mozzarella sticks which were really mozzarella bricks and they just served me a plate of broccoli pasta that pasta was so melted it wasn't able to be picked up by fork and it was curdled!!!!!!! Lastly but not least the waiter is dripping sweat like a hog and RUDE AS HELL! Oh and by the way i ordered three different things that apparently they did not have cooked tho on menu!! Don't bother coming here save urself the hassle its a pig stye!!! By the way sent my food back and waiter didn't ask me if i wanted something else nor reserve me food! Great place to eat huh!if there was way to leave negative 10 stars i would!
Placed an order for a pie on Thursday or Friday to be picked up today, Sunday. Gave them my name and number and set the date and time to get the pie. Arrived to find the store dark, parking lot empty, and a handwritten sign on the door saying they were closed for maintenance issues until tomorrow. No one called me to let me know. The nearest Perkins to me is this one and it's 45 min from my house. I spent an hour and a half driving out of my way for nothing. I am so annoyed at how careless this place is. Had they called to let me know, I would have been more understanding, but leaving a customer hanging to pick up an order is wrong. This place appears to not really value customers.
Read the comments below. Nothings changed. Short staff, staff they do have seemed to forget taking care of their customers is there job. Go the extra mile and go to the Cambridge Perkins. Obviously they know what they are doing cause even when they are busy they still have Better food and Better service.
We enjoy Perkins. Wait staff are friendly and a co.odating. my only complaint is that I cannot substitute a chicken breast for a beef patty for hamburgers. Breakfasts are great. Pancakes are the best
Food was good; service good. Coffee really good. Restaurant is run down, both our booth seats had large ripped areas. Bathroom locks broken. Our table had large splotch of syrup not washed off. The waitress/hostess appeared to be working alone, so kudos for her for doing a good job.
Food mediocre. Staff again was rude....inattentive....or just missing. Literally was given a rag to wipe our own take of syrup. When she did show up again....aftering us she will get to us when she gets to us....she was sweating profusely....still curt. Women's bathroom needed attention and out of paper in one stall. Usually Perkins is very good but the north branch location needs serious help in staff culture.
