NCTRCA provides a valuable service to small businesses, minority businesses, and members and other organizations who are interested in their development and growth. As a small business, we at ServiceBeaver sought certification from NCTRCA to offer our residential and commercial air conditioning and handyman services to a larger customer base. The certification process was well structured, thorough, and after the review and processing stages it successfully led to our MBE/SBE certification. We much appreciated the communication and support from the certification team, especially in these times of uncertainty and heavy work load. In particular, we are thankful to our NCTRCA representative Brandy, who greatly helped us throughout the application process and ensured that our certifications correctly represented our business.

Sent in my renewal application in April 2019. It's now January 2020 and still have not received a word from the certification agency. Painfully slow!!!

First, when you call this number, the operator doesn't identify themselves. Lack of phone training. Second, when you email someone and they actually respond, and you ask a simple follow up question (Dale Adams specifically), he or she ignored it. And, the person answering the phone says it takes 90 days to get an application assigned. Then the approval process takes another 30-60 ninety days. Inefficient, to say the least. Also, these people are ALL temps, as they are on a staffing company's payroll. Maybe that's why the service and professionalism is so atrocious. This entity needs to be revamped and fire all the people who work there. I wish the local entities here accepted other forms of diversity certification. The NCTRCA is an unprofessional joke.
