I’ve been going to Amber now 3 times and she has exceeded my expectations every time! Just recently I wanted to go brunette and I’ve been blonde my whole life, I showed her around 50 photos and I was very undecided and unsure what color would look best - I trusted her process and I LOVE how it turned out! Amazing place!

This is by far the best place to get your hair done and it's affordable! When you walk in you are greeted with warm, genuine smiles. Amber listened, confirmed and asked questions about the lob I wanted. She made absolutely sure that I liked my hair cut. I decided that I wanted the one side a little shorter so she happily trimmed it away. Hot Heads is clean and follows health and safety protocols. Combs, scissors eg. were in barbicide, minimal hair on the floor and proper eyebrow waxing technique. I drove 30min to get here, but I would drive an hour and half if need be honestly. I will not, I repeat, will not go anywhere else for my hair now that I've found Amber. I prioritize my needs last in my family. But Amber made me feel like a priority, a million bucks, so fresh and so clean. She has a passion for hairdressing and doesn't see it as a job which is so refreshing. I can not stand someone complaining to me about cutting hair all day while they are doing mine. It makes me feel like a burden and very unwelcome. But not Amber, she was delightful. I cannot wait til I have some extra time to go back and get my color done.

Everyone at Hot Heads is beyond amazing. Lauren cuts the hairs on my head but I would trust anyone of them with my mane. They are kind, accommodating, highly skilled and budget friendly. This is my go to hair salon in Charleston (beats the pants off of all the other places I have been over the years).

I've gotten some great haircuts from Lauren. She's always on time and the atmosphere is comfortable and laid back. I would definitely recommend this place.

Lauren gave me a fantastic haircut! It was really the first time someone showed me how to style my hair curly-and I agreed that it looked great. She was super nice and the salon had a wonderful neighborhood vibe. Just all around a great find!
