Food was good enough, just disappointed. I've never been there before and they don't give a menu or explain anything to you. You see some stuff written on a board so I just ordered a few things not understanding they had a lunch special. I was charged a full lunch special 10.25, but if I rang up my individual items it would have been less. If I had known with a lunch special you could ask for and get more to eat, I would of done so. As you can see with the picture the serving is small. Again, they explain nothing so you end up, how you end up. Just disappointed.

This is a must eat if you are in the area around lunch time. I have never once been disappointed by anything I've ordered. Good home cooked, down home food!! Friday's are my favorite. Hamburger steak, fries pork chops, mac n cheese and much more.
I have been to this restaurant probably 10 times and everything has been consistent each time. The food there is just like mom's southern home cooking. They offer nice portions. They have many different options on their menu board to order from. They have excellent sweet tea. I have not tried their desserts but they look great. The service is always incredible. The last time I went there, they offered me a chicken leg to snack on because my pork chop was going to take 4 minutes to cook... At 1st I thought they were joking. Super nice people. If you are going there for lunch, make sure you get there a little early. Be prepared to leave with a full belly.
