I wanted to add to my previous review after using MB&W for my 2019 taxes. Accountant Andrew Duggan, that prepared this year's taxes was absolutely fantastic! Very prompt, responsive and professional in all of our conversations and correspondence. He also offered some great advice that saved additional . _____________________________________________________________________ Some aspects of this company are wonderful-their tax preparation booklets that are sent to help organize your taxes, receptionists are always friendly and professional. The main issues that I have had have been with their accountants. They are extremely difficult to get ahold of. A mistake was made on my taxes this year and I called and emailed my tax preparer several times with no response. Finally, after I had done my own research and printed out and filled out the proper IRS forms another accountant gave me a call to check in. He informed me that my initial accountant had left the Practice. I informed him that I had taken care of the issue on my own, but he insisted that he check over what I had sent to make sure it was correct. He assured me that he would follow up. After sending him the necessary documents he requested, I never heard anything again. The documents need to be submitter by today. I called a few times over the past 2 weeks, to no avail. It has now been a few months since I received the initial notice from the IRS and I still have no idea whether I filled out the information properly or not. I had a similar issue last year and also did not receive a call back for nearly 2 weeks, even though he was aware of the deadline and penalties. When I finally got in touch with the accountant, he claimed to have never received any of my 4 emails or phone calls, despite that I had saved them. I gave them another chance and I regret it. I will no longer be using their services!
