Our visit two nights ago was a blast!!! We stayed at the hotel next door (which btw was simple, affordable, and clean!). Not know that due to covid flanagan's wasn't serving food, we went in and were immediately greeted by the manager, Kenny. He asked if he could help us, seated us, got us drinks, and brought us menus from their sister restaurant \The Full Moon\. Kenny went above and beyond to make our visit great! He called in our food order, had it delivered to flanagan's for us, and we had much needed, friendly conversation! We hotshot, and because of parking lot issues, driving all over town isn't an option, but Kenny, his staff, and regular customers made our first trip to North Chicago fun and unforgettable!
This review is long past due!!! Back in 1996 I was watching the bulls game at this flanagans bar and grill.. I was rooting for the Hornets. And the Honets ended their winning streak!! I was the only one excited and happy.. The manager got so mad he kicked me out!! I never went back!!
Its a good place, food is normal, service was great. Truck drivers can park here if you stay in the hotel.
