Dear Fellow Senior Although Victoria have a far different culture than Perth their Fair Go For Pensioners coalition are extremely successful. Here in Western Australia we have been lacking. Many groups like ours are advocating that there has to be a Federal and Sate Commissioner for Seniors reason being Pensioners have paid their taxes and deserve a stress free retirement with not the problems of having the fear of extra burdens with austerity measures and further increase on the Goods and services tax. There is a swell of pensioners that packed the Perth Town Hall held by the Confederation of the Ages and 6PR but failed to form a pressure group to defend Pensioners and Seniors entitlements. I am writing this letter to you to find out if your organisation would be interested in forming a coalition with like minded organisations of a Fair Go For Pensioners to collate our ideas together as one rather than submitting and lobbying governments singly and independently trusting this is to your approval Joh Kemp State State Branch Secretary of the Australian Manufacturing Workers Union West Australia Branch and Retired Unionists Network
