My son joined At 8 months and I was very nervous... but the team of educators are wonderful and have made the transition easy. 12 months on and he is doing so well, learning so much and having so much fun with his friends and creative activities. Beautiful space with a homely comfortable feel.

We have had such a fantastic experience with SOEL. I am really happy with the quality of their programs, the care provided by staff, the aesthetics and well thought out setup of the spaces. As well as, the focus on investigation and care & respect for the environment which is inherent within their approach.
My little boy started in the babies room at SOEL North Fremantle the day before he turned 9 months which was a couple of months earlier than I intended but I didn’t want to pass up on the availability that was offered to us as I’m told of this day care’s popularity. He was a little late on his milestones so wasn’t yet crawling & didn’t sit up for long unassisted. I was a very worried first time mum sending him to day care knowing he wasn’t showing much independence yet but was really pleasantly surprised & happy at how the carers looked after him & kept me informed all along the way. He has come leaps & bounds since starting & I’m sure lots of that has to do with him being around other children in a fun & stimulating environment as well as the helpful encouragement from the experienced staff. We are very happy with our experience at SOEL North Fremantle & now that our little boy is almost 1, we know we definitely made the right choice sending him there.
Both of my children have enjoyed every minute of their time at North Fremantle SOEL. The staff are lovely and the studio is an amazing place for them to be and I was constantly surprised about what my kids could do in there! This really is a magical place for any child and is right next to the train station (Great for me).
AMAZING! 5 We are so impressed with the North Freo SOEL. The directors instantly gave my husband and I the confidence required, in looking after our son. After only a short time I knew that I had found a second home for my child, where he would be nurtured and looked after vigilantly. The serene environment, fresh air, cleanliness, spaciousness, and friendly staff instantly put our minds at ease. (After looking at multiple centres) There was no comparison. My son enjoys Tennis lessons during school, once a week. Which he LOVES so much! There is so much option / and activities for growth. In so many different and diverse areas! Thank you to the educators, directors and staff at the centre for every smile you put on my child’s face, and for teaching my son to be confident, friendly and caring. I cannot thank you enough for all the happy moments my Boys shared with you throughout your time together. I am so glad we found the centre! Best place ever!
Far from the best. Their priority seems to be profits first, care second, and unfortunately it shows. We made a long and tough decision to change our son's childcare provider after having him at North Fremantle SOEL for about one year, but it was without doubt the right choice. It is only after this change that we could clearly see the many shortcomings of North Fremantle SOEL - from the care provided, the general atmosphere, to the administration.
Unfortunately very disappointed in the level of care and communication. I Witnesed my son being aggressively handled (dragged a cross the floor in the bathroom) by a SOEL educator. The educator was reprimanded and sent to an external course to help manage this outburst. However I was never given any update on how management handled the situation- I had to remove my son from the centre and make a complain externally to find out this information. SOEL would never discuss the incident with me “on the record”. Clearly did not want to accept any wrong doing for legal purposes. It’s so shameful that they could not acknowledge to me the mistreatment of my son for business and legal reasons. Furthermore, no sense on community and very very high turnover of staff. Many staff expressed disappointment in management and not a nice working environment. It would be my recommendation to parents that they ask any potential daycare, to be updated on any staff changes and question how they limit staff rotation. Plus try and see beyond the “fluff” that they aim at parents, instead sit down at the kids level and get a real sense of the actual level of care.
Good example of adaptive reuse. It has been a bail hostel, a school, a backpackers hotel, etc.
