Great supermarket, everything you should expect to find in a quality big name store, with a friendly small store feel.

The place can do with a serious upgrade. On two occasions we have have found moulded bread on the shelves and sometimes there are some very "funky" smells inside the store. They do keep a very large variety of groceries but we tend to rather drive an extra 10 minutes to the closest Woolworths or Coles because the stores are cleaner and neatly kept.

The staff are always friendly and willing to help you find the things you can't. They are also very polite.

Great local shop. Thankful we have it on the peninsula and no need to visit the "big 2" elsewhere. However, will be watching the case of underpaying workers closely and if upheld, will take my business elsewhere.

Used to be good when owned with Food land but since the change over the prices have increased and staff are not very friendly

The best part is its location, just adjacent to Osborne Railway Station and large parking space. They have lots of checkout counters, managed as well as self, and a few dedicated to people buying upto 12 items. So, no matter how busy the place is, you get a quick checkout always.....

We have been very loyal customers of Drakes stores, particularly but not exclusively Osborne for 20 years. Over the last few years, and even more so since the separation from the Foodland group, we've noticed poor quality and over priced fresh vegetables and meats, and the range of deli items has been 'dumbed down' to a point we don't bother going there for deli items. It's reasonable to guestimate that our supermarket spend was 95% Drakes, but now is around 40%. The other 55% is now going to Romeos, Central Market and Foodland Henley Square. Obviously we are staunch supporters of local retailers and do not shop at Coles, Woolworths or Aldi ever. I understand the complexities and commercial realities of supermarkets, so not blaming Drakes. Just making my own observations and voting with my own hard earned cash.

I was just shopping for a friend. Surprisingly no trolley wipes at the entry just hand sanitizer. Staff helpful and friendly
