My friend & I went to Sugar Daddy's Cafe for breakfast Sunday. The cafe was nice as well as the wait staff, but the food was unfortunately not up to par . I ordered steak & eggs over easy. My eggs were perfect but my steak was so tough I couldn't cut w/ my knife No asked if we were enjoying our meal.

The flavors were really good... And the young lady who took our order over the phone was very nice. My husband and I had the BBQ rib combo #13 with a side of greens and yams, as well as a dozen buffalo chicken wings. The meats were generously covered in plenty of sauce! The ribs were good---sweet and spicy, but they were just a little bit tough. However, I did find some soft, fatty bites, which were delicious! The yams were my favorite!! I could taste the spices. They were very sweet and the greens were quite salty, so I just mixed them together and it was perfect! The buffalo wings were our favorite item. We definitely want to try other dishes, but also get more of those delicious wings!
As a first time customer I found this to be a top-shelf take-out experience with a home cooking feel and taste. Customer service was foremost appreciated and quick. That is a way to get off on securing a return customer. The food, in this case, fried catfish, baked Mac and cheese, yams, greens, pork chops were amazing. Season just right, not at all salty. I hope this black-owned business stands the test of time but most importantly This COVID era we currently reside in. You got my support!

After 6 hours of driving coming here was a great pick, People here are so nice. Refilled our coffee and asked how were doing if we needed anything else :) Had a wonderful breakfast with my family.
Owner didnt greet me when i entered business.She just looked me up and down like i was a criminal and didnt tell me to have a nice day when i left,all the while she is sitting down with no mask on with sign on the entry door stating no one can enter without a mask.Im giving1 star because the food is great but the ownership is NON PROFESSIONAL.
The food and service was great!! One of my favorite new spots to visit when I'm I'm in town.
