Silverleaf Resorts are worth less. They are a Scam. I found a nonprofit that wanted it and I donated. Took 5 months to donate because Silverleaf made it difficult. Was happy to get rid of it. Maintenance fees kept going up. It was hard to get days booked with Endless Escape. The older units were not kept up. Just rent a vacation house or a hotel for a lot less problems.

This place is being renovated for BISD, it is no longer Silverleaf Resorts. Hopefully this brings closure to all the folks who got ripped off by the folks who sold timeshares from the location.

Like others I wish a negative rating could be made. If you are looking for a timeshare you better stay clear of this one. Since Holiday Inn has taken over, all of the benefits of a timeshare we’re lost. Also if you try to sell it the timeshare is worthless not even being sold for a penny on EBay. We elected to gift it back and the process is in its 4th month and still not completed yet. Also always something else comes up that you have to do, all along still having to pay the 100 monthly maintenance fees. This company needs to be reviewed by the Better Business Bureaus for the rip off it has become. My advice for what is worth is STAY CLEAR of it !

Imagine paying 100,000 and being told you cant stay unless you pay thousands more, for a measly 2 bedroom, old condo. Scam. Do not give them any personal information or any money. They conned us into buying a timeshare, then invited us back to look at it and told us that we had accidentally been sold the wrong one and that we could only use it every other year. They apologized for the lies from the first guy, and said that for just a few thousand dollars more we could get a discount upgrade to what we thought we wanted. They did this again with us and we said we wanted to just get out and sell it, so they convinced us to upgrade to a presidential 2 bedroom that would be more certain to be able to sell. Then they invited us back to apologize for the lies told to us before, and had us pay tens of thousands more to upgrade to a new plan, and lied to our faces that it would be worth more trading points, when in fact they traded our presidential for a non presidential. So then we had to pay to upgrade BACK to a presidential once again. Then, after we had paid them tens of thousands of dollars, they reported to the IRS that we had not paid some of the fees and that we owed 12,000 more so now the IRS wants us to pay the taxes on that! Our attorney is thinking that she can get Silverleaf to pay us for the tax money that we have to pay, as well as have Silverleaf pay all attorney fees due to breach of contract. We have been working with many different attorneys, traveling to multiple states, in trying to do a class action lawsuit, and are finding tons of others interesting in doing a class action lawsuit, but the hassle is going to be real. As owners with multiple weeks for many years...whom have NEVER stayed at one of the resorts, even after paying nearly 100k, I can tell you, STAY AWAY from Silverleaf Resorts.

Holiday Inn is totally ripping people off. I purchased this Time Share and it has Endless Escape. They want to charge 100 a month maintenance and now I tried to go to resort and they change the policy and want to charge 216.50. This is not right. Holiday Inn Sucks.

We have owned our timeshare with Silverleaf Resorts since 1994. The fees have gone up quite extensively since we originally bought. We have learned to live with that. Then a couple of years ago they said we had to use a credit card and pay 115.00 up front to check in. If no damage, then we would not be charged the 115.00. Now we get a letter indicating that we will have to pay 75.00 a night for bonus time use. We have never ever paid a bonus time fee and were told we were "grandfathered" into the program. Now they say otherwise. This means we can only use our timeshare for the one week a year we own unless they have figured out to change that. I would advise everyone to not fall for these timeshare scams.

Timeshares are one of the greatest scams ever. False sense of ownership with no ownership benefits. Be smart! Don't let these people scam you. Do your research or else you'll regret it.

This company needs to be sued. It's terrible how they are taking people's money. I've been an owner since 2003 and all my Bonus Time was free. My maintenance fees are 99 a month when they started out being 25. Now they want to charge a fee per night. People do not get conned by their sales pitch. They are a fraud and I regret the day I joined.
