Do everything possible NOT to place your loved one in this facility. Their lack of competence, compassion and communication is HORRIBLE. Had I known what our outcome was going to be, I would have driven my loved one 5000 miles in a blizzard to better rehab. They should shut this place down.

The Star Tribune ran an in depth article on this nursing home regarding coronavirus and how this nursing home was IMPORTING elderly individuals with Covid who the nursing home had ZERO affiliation with, were not residents in any way shape or form who were previously hospitalized and needing further care. The New York Times reported that in total this facility had 541 cases of Covid at their New Hope facility and were bringing in elderly strangers with Covid even as their actual residents who had been their for years some had Covid some did not and it was not under control whatsoever. One resident who formerly worked in healthcare described the place as a \petri dish\ of infection and that staff refused to wear masks and would import Covid patients just hours after another died and in SHARED rooms. Why you may ask?? Because medicare has decided to give them an extra 800 dollars per day for short term stays. Read the article by the Star Tribune regarding North Ridge its far too long for me to cover here before you even THINK about bringing your loved one there. BTW they have had a long list of infractions, topping various lists throughout the country LONG before Covid.

My brother in law has been here for over 4 weeks. I have left 7 messages for the social worker and not once have been called back. Call the main number and it is computerized and kicks me out. I would like to say that this place is not where I'd pick if I had a choice.

Very nice remodel. But the people who work there like to stand around chatting. Instead of helping the patients.

I really never thought I would have a need to go to a TCU. I have been happy that I have chosen North Ridge. The OT/PT staff is amazing and they are helping me reach my goals. The Nurses are helpful and friendly. The food has been pretty good. I would recommend coming here to others.
