Great store, great selection of products, clean store but I’m glad I have to wear a mask at the moment as every time I go in a couple of the staff smell like they haven’t had a bath in months, they do make you gag! However it doesn’t effect the food. Have a word management! Since lock down it seems that the best till staff have either left or on furlough. It’s amazing how a team is effected with just a couple of the regular staff not on the checkouts, a blonde women I think a mother and a daughter were working there and the queues may have been long but we were served quickly and still friendly and had time for a quick chat whilst do a fab job, every time I went into the store I always looked for them knowing the queues would be very quick.sad to see their not there now.

Iceland Foods in North Shields is a clean well stocked store with a very varied food selection at very competitive prices. The staff are very friendly and helpful and during 2020 up to now and despite their best efforts to follow Covid-19 regulations they do come up against customers who for reasons known only to themselves make life difficult for the staff. Iceland Foods is my main go to venue for my weekly food shopping.
Not enough tills on,super busy,queue down ailse,no social distancing due to lack of room. Awful.
So I got a delivery all my food was defrosted got another delivery wich was good they sorted the problem well last week I got a delivery and 2 Item was missing and they checkd my receipt as it says I got 3 but onley deliverd 1 they deliverd one more but refuse to gave me my third item I payed for beacouse the delivery driver is a lier said he seen them all on my bad when there was 1 I have proof on my cctv but they still won't gave me my missing item foaming
