Never live up to pre-orders. Send an email asking why and you get some abusive arrogant response telling you to go talk to your account manager who never responds as well.
Service has gone down hill big time. Simple requests are just not being met anymore. Orders being shipped much later than previously. It appears the franchises are getting the premium service while the mid to smaller guys are getting ignored. Another negative, very ordinary items are selling out now (which wouldn't have been the case years ago) before even becoming in stock. This is a sign that they have much larger retailers buying all their stock before it reaches the market. And, even when smaller vendors are placing pre-order's well in advance of IKON'S larger retailers i.e EB, ZING or even their retail side business Popcultcha - the smaller businesses aren't getting their pre-orders secured in full and it's being shared/distributed with the other bigger boys. On the other hand, I can't say I blame them, it's more money for them and they have to appease the big boys who bring in more revenue - it's an unfortunate side to a business where there is only one distributor for the country and no competition. It's a shame whenever anyone gets larger, they allow their customer service to decline. Heck, I may have to just order from Entertainment Earth or another USA distributor instead if this trend keeps up, or just close my Ikon account. It's been a good innings, but I can see signs that things are coming to an end for smaller retailers. Time to leave and move on to another distributor that looks after all their customers.
The person I buy Toys from is constantly getting shorted by Ikon. They do not send the correct stock and are hurting small business. All there focused on is helping out there brother company PopCulture. its disgusting.

AVOID !! most stock is given to EB GAMES and hurt the small stores who are struggling even more so while this COVID thing is hurting the small guys. SUPPORT SMALLER STORES ! Do not support CHAINS !
Would give them 0 stars if possible. I am trying to open a board game shop and I need a supplier but since they must be so rich they are refusing new customers. Serious? Refusing customers? I have ABN, asked to opwn an account but no, answer is no. So do you want me to open a store first and then buy the games? Very clever. Ridiculous.
