Update to owner's response (2 star): I check my email daily, including spam, so the campground's response was not missed. After the original review I left below, I received an email confirmation the next morning which I appreciate. The person who sent the confirmation email did apologize for the slow reply. We look forward to giving them a chance in August 2021 and will update the review after our visit! Original response (1 star): After such great reviews and website information, we were thrilled to find this place. However, now over a month after attempting to book, I have tried multiple ways and times to make and confirm my reservation request (online reservation, email, and phone). After trying to make the reservation online, I did not receive any sort of feedback by email or phone call in regards to whether our request was approved or denied; there should be some sort of automated email response confirming they received the request and will respond within x number of days/weeks. And I have checked my spam. I have tried since making the reservation for a month to contact them with no avail. I know this is their off season but their voicemail only said that it would take them a little while longer to get back. It's been over a month now and I'd really like to stay there but need to book elsewhere so I dont miss out on getting a place at all. If you've ever tried to stay at the Cape during August, you know how tough it can be! I am so disappointed. I hope the owners are OK or this is some sort of big mix up.

My wife and I stayed here for a week to explore properties in the area and enjoy the beaches. The management here is incredible. Upon arrival Robert, in the front office had taken the time to thoroughly explain the park rules and attractions. He worked with us to make sure we got the site that we were looking for. This gentleman was a breathe of fresh air with his kindness and big smile you could still see under his mask. The restrooms were cleaned twice a day with pressure washers and disinfectors. The walk to Head of the Meadow beach was only about 8 minutes through a gorgeous scotch bonnet pine forest. If you haven't stayed here yet... Do it!

Super nice campground with excellent facilities and welcoming management. We stayed four nights in my van and really enjoyed the quiet due to no pets, no big RV’s, no generators. Mostly tent and other van campers. Very close to the beach, with a lovely walking path and access to the bike path and nearby singletrack trails as well! Great!!

Absolutely wonderful experience!! The woods are soooo beautiful! It's clean, it's peaceful, and it's a short walk to the beach. They put us next to several other people from upstate New York which was kind of fun. You can't have a fire due to all the pine needles everywhere and you need to be quiet both of which are easy to deal with. I've traveled all over out west to most of the national parks and I highly recommend this campsite it's one of the best I've ever been in.

My husband and I camped here for a last minute long weekend and can’t say enough good things about this campground. We have camped fairly often at many different campgrounds around the NE and this might be our new favorite. The facilities were VERY clean. The owners took every precaution to ensure their guests’ safety during COVID. The sites are wooded and lovely, the staff were friendly. Best of all, the walk to the beach is an easy 1/2 mile through the woods and we chose to walk each day even though we could have driven our car. I guess the only downside is no campfires, but can see why that would be a hazard in the dry woods. Plus it was actually nice to not have to breath all the smoke. They are very up front about their rules and policies for quiet hours etc and we appreciate that. If you want to be loud and disruptive late at night this might not be your place. Thank you to the owners for a great visit. We will be back!!
