Has a great “library vibe”, warm and cozy interior design and architecture, the opposite of the “Vancouver Public Library” branches. Lots of natural light and you can see the trees across through the windows. Has a “close to nature” feel to it. Loads of space inside, I always find a perfect spot to study. Welcoming staff. Very clean. Recycling bins available. The room temperature is always on point, a bit warmer on the top floor. Quiet, atmosphere perfect for studying. There aren’t many sitting spots outside, which makes a lot of sense since this is Vancouver and it’s always raining, and mostly cold outside throughout the year. It doesn’t usually get too busy when I’m here so it’s great to be able to stay for a few hours every time. The library is great as it is and it’d be a shame for it to change. :)

Very nice little library. It is not very busy. I have been able to use a computer without waiting. There's s printer/scanner that takes coins. There is a parking lot under the library. The staff is kind

ALWAYS freezing cold in this library mostly in the top floor. The dials are set to zero as you come up the stairs. NO REFERENCE or little of a reference section now compared to a few years ago when it was an enclosed space. Noisy tutors on top floor and parents....Maybe get an office or meet at their house/your house!? 99% white staffer and student hires which is not shocking as this is the Dundarave of the North side...sadly still the same like N.Van Rec. Both have after decades all white Board members too (except Olympian John Braithwaite and one other).

One of the worst libraries I have ever been too. Small. Not many places to sit or study. Has a patio but its bad. Limited places to sit outside. Always hard to find parking and when you do its usually on a time limit. Its in an area where nature is very prominent, yet doesn't incorporate nature much at all. For example, they could have nice areas to sit and read outside but they do not. The architecture of the building is very outdated and boring. Could definetly use a renovation. I think that a nature related architectural theme would look really nice in this area. There needs to be major changes here. North Van is one of the fastest growing areas and this library is too small and too old.
