I booked an OCCLUDED OCEAN VIEW KING for 3 nights, located just near the shipyards, restaurants and coffee shops, the hotel is clean and cozy. Pet friendly. But water pressure in the bathroom sink and shower was very low and hard to regulate the water. I will consider to book another 4 star hotel with microwave in room next trip. They charged 25 on my credit card without notice. I called the front desk and asked if I can heat up my food, suddenly they brought me a microwave.

I have to say.. I was so disappointed in my stay at the Seaside. I work in the area and had heard about it so many times and had high expectations. First off, we showed up at 4pm, which was our check in time. We were told our room would be another 20 minutes and they would call us when it was ready. No problem. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive a call until about 5:20pm.. I also have to say that the reception desk feels like a coat closet/ jewelry store. It’s a bit odd. The staff did their job, but I can’t say the service was great. My biggest disappointment was when we walked into the room and found out there was NO BATHTUB. I know we didn’t order a suite.. but I have never been to a hotel that doesn’t even have a regular tub. There is no where on the website that tells you there is only a shower. I felt very mislead. They also claim to have L’Occitane products.. and they only had very generic hotel brand products. The room was also not very functional. The taps were confusing to turn on, the lights were in odd places. I was just so bummed about the whole stay. Also, the bedding wasn’t overly great. This honestly feels like such a missed opportunity for this area. It is in such a prime location! But if you’re not willing to drop 500 on a suite (which is the only thing you see pictures of in their marketing), I would not recommend staying in this hotel. Its really nothing special. Yes, the decor is nice. But you don’t even get a view if you’re not in a suite either.

Location is privileged, and the room finish is nice, the lobby was a bit underwhelming and the water pressure in the room was akin to that of a hostel... Views from the room were basically into someone's condo despite the room being named 'occluded ocean view' (there was way more occluded than there was ocean) ... all in all good and we got a great price due to closures/lockdowns etc but I wouldnt pay full price for this hotel unless they up their game a bit

Sizzlino's Fade Parlours

We stayed here for our anniversary and we absolutely loved it! The big room facing the water has an unbelievable view from the bathroom tub and the king size bed. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice little getaway.

From the moment we reached out to the hotel to book for our wedding all staff has been prompt, courteous, and accommodating. We booked the ocean view suite, it was better than the photos. Highlights: - the staff!! Responded to all requests with record speed. Whether it was more ice, in room dining, telephone inquiries, or pre-stay site visits, they were accommodating, accurate and fast with their response. - amenities. Bed and bath linens, furniture, and room layout all worked together to create a calming oasis during a crazy time. - Food. Seaside Provisions had a great menu which we enjoyed both in the restaurant and in room. I recommend the dips and the prawn cocktail. Their oyster presentation was great as well. Suggestions: - a better fridge. That’s it! Thank you Seaside Team for a fantastic stay. We will be back soon.

Not sure I would recommend staying here. Terribly misinformed about the parking & received no help. The exact question I was asked was: "would you like access to our parking garage" I said "yes please is it extra?" I was informed it would be included in my charges with my room, I was given a form to sign for my make & model & license plate. I then received two parking fines by the end of my stay , on top of being over charged for the room. After reading these reviews (now) it clearly isn't a first time & with no surprise was told the hotel can't do anything to accommodate. 0/10 would not recommend.

Awesome place. Great service and the room was very nice. The scenery within walking distance is just jaw dropping, even with the smoke in the air.
