I'll admit I was skeptical about going here just because it seemed like too much of a "chain" style venue due to its name. I was wrong. The craw and seafood (mussels & snow crab legs) was awesome. Corn and sausage as the add on with a side of Cajun rice made this one of the best places I've ate at in North Vancouver since moving here. Kudos to the food & experience. I'll be back here sooner than later to give the other menu items a go.

The best taste of seafood on the North Shore. Definitely worth the price. Service fantastic. Definitely recommend to give Captain's Boil a try!
Omg this is hands down the BEST seafood restaurant I have EVER had in my life! The portions are great, and taste fanonamal! So flavourful, it is a bit pricey bu tell worth it and we'll, what good sea food isn't? So oooooo good! We Will be returning here for sure - great fast and friendly service also
Great experience! The food was fresh and delicious and not overcooked unlike some other seafood restaurants. The servers are nice and friendly. The mussels and cujan fried rice were tasty and will leave you wanting seconds. About the plastic bags, the plastic bags are biodegradable! Overall, awesome experience. Would recommend.
This place is really good - even compared to some good ones in the states. I particularly liked crawfish and clams with Captains boil sauce.
GREAT food! Service was excellent as well. I usually cant stand battered fish because it's usually more batter than fish, but the fish here was great... almost a tempura like batter and lots of fish. The fries are great too and there is more than enough to fill you up and take home. I'll definitely be going again!
First time at this restaurant with friends who have been here. The food was tasty. Had the shrimp and chicken with the Captain's Boil sauce. Loved the shrimp. Cajun seafood fried rice was also very good. I'm giving it a lower rating because of all the plastic being used. So very wasteful in this day and age without regard for the environment. Everything was plastic except for the plate the rice was served on with a metal spoon. The side cups for the rice was paper (ice cream container type) with plastic spoons. The water was in a plastic cup. The bibs and gloves, more plastic and sometimes more than one pair of gloves are used as the sauce seeps through. The tables are lined with paper as the food is supposed to be dumped on it to be served. I left it in the plastic bags as I didn't want the sauce running all over the table. Lots of napkins and paper table liners being used. Overall, lots of plastic and paper garbage being generated which is a real turn off. Even though the food is decent, I won't go back as I cannot support the amount of plastic being used and disposed on a daily basis.
Fried calamari and fried rice was really good. I ordered chicken slices with captains boil flavor with medium spice but it was not so good. Shrimp with captains boil flavor with fire spice was ordered by my friend n I liked it better. We had to rush out as it looked like the staffs were in a hurry to close the restaurant. Over all ..a little above average restaurant.
