I wanted to buy a car they had, I was all set to get it subject to a test drive and making sure our car seat fitted. After waiting for about 30 minutes in the otherwise deserted showroom while the two staff finished a cup of tea and a chat about last night's football, I was told that it would only be possible to test drive if I came back with the "money in my pocket" and test-fitting the car seat would have to wait until I'd bought the car. Needless to say, we went elsewhere...
