My mother-in-law has been a resident at Ashurst Mews for almost three years now and recently celebrated her 100th birthday there. I doubt very much that we could have found a happier or better place for her to live as, in addition to the excellent and professional care which is provided, there is a caring and affectionate atmosphere engendered by the staff. The quantity and quality of the activities and entertainment which are provided on an almost a daily basis is quite remarkable and is something which cannot be valued too highly. If you really want to have a flavour of the atmosphere here have a look at the facebook page and you will see something different going on every day. If you have to give up your independence due to age and infirmity this is the place to go to. Wonderful!!

Mum was a resident here for six months until she passed away, she was treated with dignity and respect as were her family members the whole time she was there, staff are always willing to spend time with you if you need help or support. The home is clean and well maintained, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. A credit to Avery and every member of staff who work there making it the home that it is.

My wife and I moved her parents into Ashurst Mews 6 months ago. Giving up your home is not an easy thing to do but they were made very welcome and quickly settled into their new life. Recently my father-in-law suffered a fall and was found to have a broken femur which required a partial hip replacement. He was back in Ashurst just a week after his op and being home and seeing all the friendly faces of the carers is helping beyond measure to complete his recovery. We would unhesitatingly recommend this care home to anyone looking for top quality care for their loved ones. Of course, Ashurst Mews is just a building - it is Shweta, the Home Manager, and her wonderful staff who bring it to life with their can-do attitude and superb care.

I visit ashurst mews weekly for the armchair exercise sessions with the residents. The home itself is fantastic but what really tops it off is the attitude of both the residents and staff. All the staff are hardworking and very attentive. The atmosphere in ashurst mews is always pleasant and it's a truly happy home for everyone. My sessions here are always a pleasure.
