Small car park, but not the sort of place to get massively busy so you should always be able to find a space. Seems to be a meeting point for local youngsters in their cars during dusk/evenings, but they don’t make a nuisance of themselves. The only let down is the surface, which gets a bit muddy and waterlogged in the colder months. The walks around this side of the tunnel entrance are rather eerie and bleak - especially in autumn and winter months when the light starts to fade - but it’s still an amazing place to visit, steeped in history.

Good basic but small car park on the outskirts of Blisworth, just by the tunnel portal. Fairly rough surface. Good base for rambles in the area. Maximum length of vehicle 5m, maybe less. Definitely not suitable for motorhomes as there is no significant turning space.

Free car park above the entrance to the Blisworth Tunnel. From here you can walk down to Grand Union Canal, admire the tunnel entrance and head down the canal tow path to Blisworth and beyond.
