Wonderful practice. Thank you very much for your continued help and support. Dr Stocks is excellent - empathetic professionalism, medical assessment and treatment plans, and thank you Kate for your continued compassion and advice. Happy Christmas and New Year to you all. Dom

I’d just like to say, thankyou to Jane my mental health nurse and my asthma nurse Maggie (I think her name was), 5 stars for you and I appreciate all the help. I got Jane some chocolates due to her amazing work. Unfortunately to get through the the doctors, you have the receptionists. The receptionists let the whole practice down. Rude, disrespectful, entitled and up their own arses. If you struggle with mental health and need your (correct) medication, do not come here, the fact the reception are the people we need to sort out medication and get appointments just baffles me, no social skills and impolite. I even got a call back from a receptionist so she could have the last word, unprofessional! Every few days it’s a massive headache just trying to get my monthly medication, I refuse to call and speak to them, so I do it all through the app, when I have 6 different medications that all get picked up separately, why is it so unorganised? In the process of moving doctors now as I shouldn’t be having to fight and argue with receptionists for medication and the rest!

Well before any virus disruption, a written complaint against Maple Access, Hazelwood Road, Northampton NN1 1LG was prepared on my behalf and submitted to Maple Access (Hazelwood Road) in an appropriate manner. More than enough time allowed, no form of response to our complaint was received, by us. I referred the complaint to the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (P.H.S.O.). In addition, I referred related matters to the Care Quality Commission (C.Q.C.).

Nurse Rebecca is unskilled. Reading other reviews on here, I can see I’m not the only one who thinks tho s. I’d encourage people to complain directly about her to the surgery (as I have).

Hi i would like to say that the mental heath support i have recieved from here has been amazing. The understanding of what a person is going through, and the fact that you are not alone especially in this covid nightmare..is SO IMPORTANT! Without this i would certainly would have been in a sorry state, the empathy, understanding and support are vital, just because someone puts a brave face on things, the turmoil going on inside is awful. This and helping you see a way forward, be it tiny steps, are makes all the difference. I have had some extremely difficult times throughout the years, and if it was not for this lifeline of support i donk think i would have survied this far. So thanks again Maple Access for being such a brilliant and unique surgery.
