We had a lovely afternoon tea here! The staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was SO good! Great selection of sandwiches (and savoury extras), cakes and scones. The tea menu was also very impressive! Would definitely recommend.
The Dining Room is the wonderful restaurant inside 78 Derngate. Serving excellent food and wonderful afternoon tea, book before you turn up so as not to be disappointed. A tour around number 78 is also recommended, the house designed by Charles Renne Mackintosh for Basset Lowke.
Five stars minimum! Great, flexible service, pandemic-adapted brilliantly. The food was packaged beautifully for the takeaway afternoon tea I ordered for 7, the food was absolutely delicious and I really honestly can't wait to go back!
