Well kept parks, with a boating lake, 2 large ponds attached by a stream, pathed for easy access to all areas. Lovely childrens play park, well stocked cafe, museum check times, open days though as not always open. Do some entertainment and sports events but need to check with borough. Have tennis courts, table tennis and a variety of gym activities dotted around the grounds. Good for a picnic, dog walking, running. Bring bread and nuts as the ducks, swans, pigeons and squirrels are hungry. Enjoy.

Very well set out Cafe in the centre of Abington Park. Easily accessible for able and disabled persons. The sit in area is closed for current Covid-19 issues, but there are plenty of benches close by to sit and enjoy a coffee and a piece of yummy cake. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and all wearing PPE. There is clear signage to show they are promoting social distancing, and although their toilets are closed, there are some open across the green that are well maintained.

Flat white coffee was a large cup of hot milk flat white comes in a small cup and actually tastes of coffee. Bacon and sausage baps for the price disgusting at least use locally sourced meat and not frozen cheap meat it's a rip off and shows instead of driving around in posh cars get some decent meat and coffee

In spite of inside seating being closed due to Covid, service and food was up to the usual great standard. Christmas music playing, sitting outside in the sunshine enjoying a great lunch, perfect!
