I called for a emergency service call on a Saturday night and Ricky arrived in 39 minutes. He was great! Unfortunately we still had a small problem in the morning and AA came out early Sunday morning in less than one hour. Joe showed up, another professional with a great bedside manner. I have used AA for 2 years and they are great company. I highly recommend the maintenance agreement. Thank you AA!!

AA Service is a top notch mechanical contracting firm - experts in all aspects of HVAC/Plumbing/Water Heating/Hydronics/outdoor Snow Melt - from small residential to larger commercial jobs. My (1937) house has several systems - Forced Air (HVAC) Furnace and a Boiler that supplies domestic hot water, radiant floor heat, and a small front sidewalk snow melt system. The call with Mark M was in regards to the snow melt system. Mark immediately diagnosed the situation regarding the problem - incorrect/incomplete wiring to the boiler (not separated from the indoor floor heat). Up until that point, three other contractors could not figure out the simple solution that Mark came up with. He had the job done within 3 hours and saved me on purchasing any additional parts. Super quality work and a very reasonable bill... refreshing. Furthermore, Mark mentioned that I could save on the gas bill with combing / zoning the separate furnace(s) in the house and that AA has a specialist for that who would come over and take a look and give me an estimate. It truly is a great feeling when you find a (mechanical) contracting firm for your home or business that has highly trained specialists and professionals that can provide the best solutions to make you comfortable - and save on the utility bills - whether it involves gas, water, or electric. They will leave you in the cold... literally. We have been using this company for years. We’ve hired them to repair equipment, replace equipment and clean equipment. This morning our heat went out. It’s 7 degrees outside. I called their “emergency service” line, and after 20 minutes of back and forth with someone in their call center, I was connected with a manager who essentially told me that our long history of work and service was not worth putting us on their emergency service list. The reasoning: we don’t have a maintenance contract. To be clear, they did maintenance for us annually, but there was no official “maintenance contract,” so they literally left us to freeze. I hung up with them and called Ravinia Plumbing (who we have never used for anything), and they immediately offered us a morning slot for emergency repair. Sounds like we will be taking our business there.
