I had two employment mentors with this program. The first, I met with him twice and then he emailed to say that he was no longer going to work for Aspect. So my dad rang Aspect multiple times to try and arrange a new mentor and they never got back to us. Months passed and I got a call out of the blue from a woman who was a new mentor working for Aspect and we arranged to meet. I thought she seemed like a very good prospective mentor after meeting with her once and we arranged a second meeting, which she cancelled at 11:19pm via email the night before (a Sunday night) so I had to cancel my rideshare I had prebooked (inconveniencing my driver as well). The mentor cancelled because she had a meeting with her manager that she was going to - surely she knew about this meeting prior to 11pm on Sunday night? And what if I hadn’t checked my email before the session? Several days went by with no contact from this mentor and I just knew that she, like the first mentor, was going to drop me - and I got a call from Aspect confirming that about 3 days later. I would not recommend Aspect’s employment mentoring program. It is extremely inconsiderate to treat anyone like this but especially autistic people like myself. If you are thinking about doing mentoring with Aspect I’d suggest that you reconsider. Update: 29/11/2019: They have hidden reviews on their Facebook page, so you can't see this review that I posted on there as well. Silencing criticism from actually autistic people is a massive red flag.
