The previous coffee before the change was significantly better. The new roast is a bit weaker and no longer competes with the rest of the high street cafes in the coffee arena. Good food and great vibe/layout though, definitely worth a visit! Will make sure to update review according to most recent changes.

Cafe is very well-designed and also has some space for outside seating. Staff is very friendly. Coffee tastes normal and the French toast looks very good but just way too sweet, I guess it will be perfect that they provide two different sweetness French toast :)
Food and service was fabulous. Great coffee. Can't wait to go back.
The food was decent and the service was poor. We were sitting outside and got pretty much ignored. They forgot our coffee order and I eventually gave up and went inside to place our food order. I noticed other people waiting outside for their coffee for unusually long too.
Great service. Food looked and tastes delicious. Busy day and everything served out quick. Great new local for coffee too
Love Field Black. Interesting and delicious food items - breakfast gnocchi is a winner! The last time I was here I had it with chorizo and feta, the new menu has seasonal mushrooms and egg. Both brilliant. And great to see a cafe changing its menu seasonally. Excellent service. Definitely a winner in a part of Thornbury that needs it.
Great place to hangout with mates and have some delicious brunch and nice coffee! And place is doggo friendly too What more could one ask for!
This could be my new favourite cafe! Fantastic Padre coffee, AMAZING food, lovely staff and service. Cafe itself has great atmosphere, lovely interior and great music. What more could you ask for?!
