My kids love swimming at Coulter Northmead since the teachers are lovely here. They stress upon the basics. Assessment is continuous and fair, which is also why we like Coulter a lot. The 3 star rating is attributed to the management (or should say MISMANAGEMENT) since messing up with the bookings of my kids’ classes is common (and am sure I am not alone in this). Even so that the reoccurring session was cancelled without my notice with no other session available. I feel for the staff letting me know all this since they have no option, but can’t understand why they cancelled the booking in first place.

For swimming classes they are good, usually very busy and fully booked. If you are interested in joining your kid, please do it in advance as the spaces are usually booked very fast.

So far the best swimming centre. My kids enjoy it and I've enjoyed it since joining 2 months ago and I've seen my kids grow in their swimming skills and confidence

The staff says they cannot do anything with the waiting time at change rooms. People are taking 15-20 mins to change when they should really wrap up in 5 mins. I know someone who left Coulter just for this reason. The management should realise this now. Sticking instructions on walls is not enough. Today after waiting for 20 mins I saw a family of 4 come out. They had taken their own sweet time to shower.

We have been really happy here since moving from another swim school this year. Our daughter has already greatly improved her technique and has been promoted twice within 3 months of attendance! We have especially enjoyed lessons with Rosie, Kelsey and Christopher. The ability to do make up lessons is a huge advantage. Excellent focus on technique and monitoring of progress.

Really good and helpful staff at this swimming, always ready to find a suitable time based on parents needs. Clean pool and good swimming instructors. Overall great experience for the little ones to learn to swim.
