Great school and fees reasonable by (admittedly eye watering) UK standards nowadays. Could do better in sport (outside of rowing, at which they excel).

Well it's been such a long time now. I was in the first year of the grammar school with the headmaster Mr Marshall,I was also the only person that year to get a bursary. I persuaded Mr Tindale to start a football team we got beat 10-0 by Weaverham and I'm sorry to say I was the captain . Although academically I didn't do very well I would like to think that my time at school DID make the person I became and a good soldier... yeah armed forces not exactly what was expected but nevertheless the he school built my character. Thank you
