Amazing. Traditional fish and chips Cod was so fresh.. Lovely white flesh. Batter beautiful and crunchy. Chips well cooked not fat dripping out of them. Mushy peas tasty Haddock was a treat. And a large fish means a large fish. So very happy. Been a long time finding a good traditional fish and chip shop which the owner understands the cooking of good quality fish. I travelled from Southend on sea to this fish and chip shop and trust me I was not disappointed as being a fish and chip owner in the past I was totally impressed it was definitely worth the 2 hour drive..

First time visit on Saturday evening. Bright, clean and welcoming. Quite busy but staff offered a quick and professional service. Staff happy to give advice on availability of menu items. Pies were very good. Chip portions (2) were huge :-). Mushy peas were very tasty. Will certainly be back in the future.

Best fish and chips I have had for a long time. Visited about 6 weeks ago. Nice dry chips and the haddock had been properly drained and so the paper was not running in oil. Lovely flavour. I was visiting my daughter who lives locally. I live in the Midlands, any chance you could move nearer??. Will visit again soon.

This is a great chippy shop. One of, if not the, best fish and chips I have had. I will specially recommend the place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You really miss out if you don't give things one a try.
