I absolutely love Thai pan - it is the best quality Chinese food in north London and definitely on par with Chinese in central. I am vegetarian and they have a huge selection. You can tell the dishes are cooked fresh and they actually taste healthier than a lot of other Chinese. 10/10 recommend.

I cannot reccomend this place AT ALL. When we entered the restaurant the first thing was we were given a table right next to the entrance. Cannot understand why theres a table there (no sense of privacy). We obviously had to decline and ask for another. Our starters came before our drinks and the staff are not trained very well. One of the waiters at one point asked if we needed anything else while she was here so she could bring it all at once implying it was a pain to keep returning to the table. It should be their job to be called as many times as things on the table are required. We usually order things as we eat them. The portion sizes are also abysmal. The westend prices in this restaurant are unjustifiable. Go to Tian hu instead read my review of it.
Food great as always but being setup in a take away system, I had the most horrible experience again. You have to line outside just to place an order but they didn't come out to take orders, people including myself waited 45 minutes just to get in to make am order as they only answered some calls and filled the entrance with people collecting orders who were also waiting a long time. Not good for take aways as not much common sense.
Service : varies but generally it feels a pain to ask for anything Food : usually it used to be fine. However the last 3 occassions the dishes ordered as a vegetarian the same dish has been different but we did not say anything. HOWEVER, WE ATTENDED TONIGHT TO FIND A PIECE OF METAL WIRE IN THE MAIN DISH. THE MANAGER DID NOT WANT TO LISTEN AND WAS NOT INTERESTED IN THE SERIOUSNESS OF THE HEALTH AND SAFETY RISK. If you do go check your food vigilantly. Recommend NOT TO GO unless you like poor service, food at west end prices & overall a difficult and miserable manageress. I do think that the restaurant only has to do small improvements to make big changes. Good Luck
Loved the food. The broccoli and asparagus particularly were delicious. Very Covid safe with screens etc. Would definitely go back soon!
