Stunning location set in bushland in the Adelaide Hills. The owners are extremely friendly and hospitable, producing a number of wines from grapes grown in the Adelaide Hills as well as the McLaren Flat region. We particularly enjoyed the Grumpy(er) Old Bastard and ended up buying a couple of bottles to take home with us. They are also available as a wedding venue and have live music at times during the summer months.

We were in the throws of organising a venue for our wedding, when good friends suggested we visit Sean and Sue and discuss the possibility of holding the wedding at the Winery. Well, the next weekend we went up, and by the end of that Sunday afternoon, we had penciled in a date. Both Sue and Sean were accomodating as to what we wanted, and they are both full of good ideas to help you organise and plan your big day. Sean took us to the forested area where the cermony would be held, and the gums looked so majestic, we realised it would be the perfect spot for the ceremony. The cellar door area, is lawned and just the best space to have your friends and guests celebrate your big day. Sue had some great suggestions on what food works well, table set ups and timing of everything.Sean was on wine and beer advise (very important) and helped with suggestions for lighting and visual impact. With their help, and our friends in setting up, we had the most gorgeous space to enjoy our day.We had perfect weather, whilst it was pretty warm, by late afternoon, the reception area is shaded which makes for a great space. The beer and wine flowed, just about everyone commented on how beautiful the setting was, and how relaxed they all felt, which is how we wanted it to be. So, all in all, Sinclair Gully Winery, should be on your list of destinations, not just to plan your wedding, but just a great spot to enjoy some super wines, and great hosts, Sean and Sue.

While looking for a venue for our wedding, we came across Sinclair's Gully when searching for a outdoor ceremony reception at one location, where we were able to supply our own caterers for the day. When we arrived we were greeted by Sue who answered all our questions and showed us around the winery that afternoon. We loved the laid back feel the winery had in a rustic and natural setting. On our day Sue and Sean went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and fuss free. We couldn't recommend Sue and Sean enough to anyone that asked us. All our guests had an amazing time and complimented what a beautiful venue we chose.
