I called and asked for a small pork with plantains and rice. She said large i kept repeating small. Than i get to the restaurant and i repeated to the women at the cash register what i ordered. So when she told me the price she said 14 and i asked for a small? So then she said on Sunday’s they add salad and etc. so i said to the women i didn’t ask for that, as she was trying to convince me that i need to eat more. Anyway i was in a rush so i paid for the food and left. Sorry to say this will be my last time ordering food from them, this isn’t the first time.

Great food but not nearly enough for the price

The rice and beans alone were delicious, however, I always have the legumes, I hope I spelled it correctly. The portions are fair and the prices are very reasonable! I can share a small order with one other person.

Miss my mother's hatian food but now I drive all the way from HARTFORD COUNTY to get my rice and beans..jonjon etc...and I always buy enough to bring some home for a day or two...

Best Haitian food in Connecticut by far! The women were so nice. The food was amazing. The boulette was the best I’ve ever had. I drove 1 hour and 30 minutes to get there and, I definitely will be coming back. Great prices as well

They are open Mondays now. Very low key place. Great homemade food. Service is great. I felt like I was in Haiti for a bit. Landed in the middle of a heated political debate one time among a couple customers, nothing bad, just fun. Fry goat is amazing. All the curries are delicious. Patties were the only miss in my few visits here.
