A very nice and detailed description if you're Norwegian, wouldn't mind an English translations for tourists.

A great museum with some interesting historical artefacts. We were led on a tour by one of the local historians (Erik) who brought the exhibits to life with some amazing anecdotes. I would imagine that most if not the majority of people wouldn't give it the time of day, because travellers are interested in just getting to and from the airport; but, if you're early and want to kill some time (or happy to delay a journey after landing), this is definitely a great place to go. A gem of a museum.

Overwehlming experience I highly recommend this museum because the aircraft collection is truly remarkable. Not only were we able to watch all details of the aircrafts upclose, but we also got to chat with a former pilot of the C 130, who was really friendly and gave us a great insite of the technical specifications.

Closed most days of the week. Waited till Saturday to visit then closed for an event. Recovered aircraft would be better off put back in nature as that way some people would have a chance to see them...
