Invidia Voices is a fun and friendly choir, singing all sorts of Rock, Soul and Pop songs such as Ain't No Mountain High Enough, Bohemian Rhapsody, Valerie, Living on a Prayer, Good Vibrations. There is a lot of variety in the songs and the singing ability of the individual members, but the sound we create together is awesome. Everyone is very supportive. No audition and nobody minds how well you sing. Singing is good for the Soul and I love this choir. It's the best thing that I have done for me in a very long time.

My husband and I have been members of the choir for 7 years. We love singing with our ‘Invidia family.‘ There is a great range of uplifting songs which are chosen by the choir members. All the tutors are professional and inspiring. The choir is inclusive of all abilities and gives everyone a chance to gain confidence and singing skills. Warmly recommended

This choir has changed my life, I have gained new friends and we are like a big family. Before the pandemic we would sing together and have such an amazing time, during the pandemic Matt has been AMAZING by providing online choir rehearsals, how to read music tutorials, how to play the piano, singing workshops and on top of that, he created a free choir called Corona Voices for the public to get involved over lockdown. Matt does an amazing job and this choir is a god send. If you want some me time, no matter whether you can sing or not, join Invidia Voices!

A while ago, my wife and I decided it would be a good plan to do some leisure activity together and we came along to an Invidia Voices choir rehearsal which was then at Epic Studios, not quite sure what to expect. It has been literally life transforming not only because of the sheer joy of singing together with others but also because we are part of a very supportive and social group. We have made loads of new friends and have performed at numerous Norfolk events including the Waterfront and backing Take That at Carrow Road in 2019 which was an incredible experience. Not to mention the Invidia Initiative charity, singing workshops and so much more. A gigantic THANK YOU to Matt, Alex and Team Invidia!

Invidia has been such a life changer for me since the day I joined over 6 years ago! It’s the family I never knew I needed with so much support and love, even through such stressful times as Lockdown, Invidia continues to support and aid as many people as they can by getting us all together (even if only virtually) to sing our hearts out. It’s the biggest mood and confidence boost ever, and I’m grateful to Matt, Alex and the Team for all they do for their members. Honestly cannot recommend enough! If you’re looking for an amazing, friendly, supportive community choir, here it is!

I’ve been a Member of Invidia Voices for 3 years now , & It’s the best thing Ive ever done . They make you feel so welcome, and are very supportive even when I’ve had the worst day after rehearsals I’m always smiling. You don’t have to be an amazing singer. If your the kind of person who loves music & wants to have fun then you will fit right in . So proud to be a member xx

I joined Invidia Voices in March 2017. Since then, my life has changed beyond recognition. The support and friendship of this wonderful group of people goes far beyond just being a choir. Matt Emmerson, who runs the choir, goes above and beyond for his choir every single day. With the current situation with Covid-19, he has been a lifeline for so many of us. In normal times, the choir is fun, friendly and supportive with no judgement of anyone. Your level of ability is not questioned. All are welcome. Joining Invidia was the single best decision I ever made!

Being part of Invidia Rock & Soul Choir, is like being in one big family. It’s fun, friendly & supportive, we all come with different abilities in singing and this is very much accepted in our choir, nobody is ever critical of any one, and with the help of our wonderful tutors we learn to improve & be more confident in our singing. Being with like minded people is so uplifting, rehearsals are fun & performing gives you such a buzz, being in Invidia is a big part of my life, & I mustn’t forget to say that singing is good for your health.
