The Volkswagen key fob needed another battery. They only seem to last a year. My Duracell battery I tried failed to work so I rang the dealer in Norwich. They told me this was now a parts dept issue and tried to put me through to them. After a long wait the telephone receptionist asked for my contact details and would have them contact me. After a week I decided to seek help elsewhere. More recently I booked the car in for its annual service. I needed two new tyres for which I usually use national tyres. To save two longish journeys I asked Robinsons if they would price match and fit them at the time of the service.. Once again the service dept would not deal with this for me and directed me to the Parts dept. I was put through and asked if they could help. They told me the tyres were available but could not match the National Tyres price, No offers of compromise. In the past I have found our local VW Robinsons dealer (north Walsham) now closed, more than helpful with servicing and tyre replacements. I have been a VW customer for the past forty years changing models at the end of each warranty. I’m seriously thinking of leaving the brand for these and other reasons.

Went in to price a new Transporter with my 3yr old Caddy for p.ex. Notes made.. no prices forthcoming. Emailed a chase, was asked for all details again. Sent them through, still nothing. I bought my Caddy new from Liverpool VW for cash, I remember why now. Friendly bunch in Norwich but once they've sold their quota, I'm guessing they lose interest?!
Just purchased a used caddy. 5 star service all the way. Nothing was too much trouble. Aftercare was the best I’ve experienced. Best main dealer ever dealt with by far. Special thanks to Sam.
