Very friendly staff, always happy to help and very knowledgeable. If you cant find what you're looking for just ask, they always seem to have unexpected things hidden away for such occasions. I notice some reviews mention funny looks from staff. Aren't we all covering half our faces with masks at the moment!? Be difficult to be so certain of such behaviour and I've never had problems.

Staff should be trained in customer service if you need help don’t ask them as they give you a look which makes you feel uncomfortable. Not how it was before they have staff in who don’t know nothing or get angry if you ask them for help. Would be nice to see a lady working here as soon as you go inside there’s about 3, 4 men standing next to the door blocking your way
I bought an item from here which broke hours after purchase. The Item was cheap and wouldn't have cost them much at all 'cost price'. I politiely asked if there was anything they could do on price as a good will gesture if i bought a replacement from them. The manager came across rude and gave me a one word answer 'NO.' So much for looking after your local community who shopped with you regularly for decades. I wont be spending my money in there again.
Needed a tap for a 200 litre water barrel. It's on my allotment and the only way I could use it was to submerge my watering can. Spotted a tap at cutlers hardware. Perfect for what I want, will be fitting it asap. Came with washers and locking nut and free postage, very impressive, would recommend product.
The person that runs the shop is very polite but his young workers when you ask them help and questions they look at you and get annoyed. Not very friendly at all but the manager is helpful.
