Peggy's Skylight is hands down one of the best music venues / bars / restaurants in Nottingham. Every experience I've had here has been more than 10/10. The staff are extremely friendly and create such a wonderful atmosphere. The musicians who perform are always subpar and really know how to work an audience ! The cocktail menu is absolutely delightful and the food is always cooked to perfection! Highly recommend visiting Peggy's Skylight

Peggy's has been the 'go to' place for us, when we want an excellent night out, since it opened. We always come away refreshed, chilled or buzzing (dependent on music played!) and always happy. We appreciate the range and expertise of the musicians that come to Peggy's. Musicians who come from London always come back and they have such good things to say about the venue. Paul and Rachel, the owners, are outstanding musicians themselves. Paul an amazing pianist and Rachel's voice has a quality reminiscent of the well-loved jazz singers of the pasr, such as Ella. The food, drinks, ambience and interaction with staff is great. We always have to have the duck and I'm now a lover of halloumi (but only here - I find it rubbery everywhere else!). The drinks list is extensive, I'm steadily getting through the cocktails! The layout is quirky and comfortable, with different areas of seating. You can pre-choose where you want to sit - close to the action; theatre style to see over the heads of the folk near the stage; or further away, if you want to be able to appreciate the music and food but want to chat occasionally. The music is the main event and Peggy's, quite rightly, request that talking is kept to a minimum. At various times during Lockdowns Paul and Rachel have provided takeaways and live streaming on Fridays and Saturdays, when allowed. . This opportunity has been welcomed by many folk and we feel grateful and privileged to still be able to watch and hear great music from our lounge! However, nothing beats being there and we cannot wait for the doors to open again following this latest Lockdown. We anticipate being regulars for years to come. .

Nottinghams very own version of Ronnie Scott's. Excellent food & entertainment, good view of the stage area and good service. High quality acts on every week, worth booking.

Food: 10/10 Portion: 8/10 Staff: 10/10 Ambience: 10/10 Price: 9/10 Lovely staff, very attentive. Service was great. Food was amazing, although the portions are really small, we had to order one dish again.
