They ruined my 2000 Asus Zephyrus Gaming Laptop for my money. I rarely write bad reviews, but this time I just could not stand it. Briefly: What I had: A laptop with a non-working keyboard in excellent condition. What I Received: Not working keyboard (But now Chinese, which was replaced carelessly) Not working track pad (They literally removed cable from motherboard, its now missing) Keyboard and trackpad are attached on glue or something like that and its looks really bad. In more details: I had issue with keyboard on my Asus Zephyrus laptop. I asked them what the issue and they told me that there is only way to fix it, is by replacing the keyboard. So I bought replacement and asked them twice, if it wont help, please put original one back, so I could send replacement keyboard back. They agreed. What I received after the repair: Replacement didn't help, they damaged original keyboard as well as track pad, which stopped working at all. Also it seems like they attached trackpad on glue, since it was looking terrible and there where a lot of gaps. Also replaced keyboard was attached bad and the buttons began to bend. They told me that original keyboard got damaged because of the heat, and that was only way to replace it, BUT they never called me to ask if I agree with that. About the service: They never called me back, I always had to call them by my own, also they never did their job in time (they promised me a lot of times that it will be ready next day, but almost all the time they delayed it, so I wasted a lot of time by walking to their service when the job was not done yet.

I have used this firm several times over 15 years. I've never had a single problem with anything they've sold me. I'm very happy to use them. Last week I took in an old pc I had built in 2012 which had finally stopped producing a signal to the monitor. All the online guides were wrong about the root cause. And even though they were busy in the shop they quickly diagnosed the problem with their test equipment there and then. I should have gone to them straight away instead of wasting a day trying to do it myself. I asked what I needed to do. He told me the parts I needed and said he could fix it by the next day. I agreed and the work was done as promised on time. What I liked is that he found out that I just needed to work from home and just needed a modern functioning pc and didn't try to sell me a thousand quid gaming graphics card or a massive cpu. He did enough to make the pc suitable for the job it was intended for and make it reasonably future proof. He used the existing case and parts where it was sensible so I didn't feel like I was wasting anything. Furthermore, the cost was reasonable and the job was much tidier than if I had done it myself. I can see a few comments saying that this place is more expensive than ebuyer or Amazon. Those comments are true. I think if I had looked I probably could have saved a few pounds by doing everything online. But there again, you can turn up here, get immediate quality advice, pick up a part, sort out any problems and be home with everything working the same day. You can't do that with Amazon or ebuyer. And anyone who's had to do an RMA at ebuyer knows how that can be a pain sometimes. I don't like wasting money but I am happy to pay the few percent extra for the speed, convenience and service and intelligent communication you get with a quality local company like this.

Good place for getting components when you need them quickly. Reasonable prices on most items. Staff have excellent knowledge of what they are selling. Receipts sent to your email address ( Saving paper) and doing their bit for the planet. Recommended
