The worst experience I've ever had at GJ's. Saturday afternoon 4 pm we ordered coffee and tried to choose food from the food on display. We were told they can't heat anything because they've turned the oven off. They close at 5, so that's BS. I used to own a takeaway and cooking was turned off gall hour before closing to allow cleanup. The young girl was lazy, absolutely no customer service skills, definitely not interested and shouldn't have the job. We cancelled our coffee order and went a few shops further down where the service and food were excellent. NO WAY WOULD I EVER GO BACK TO THAT SHOP NOR RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. WE SAW OTHER PEOPLE WALK OUT TOO.

Coffee flavour is ok. Cold drinks,frappe, iced choc etc with cream... Lovely! Some of the younger staff need some more experience with customer service,a smile wouldn't hurt... But otherwise not bad to grab a hot/cold beverage

This place is starting to look a bit run down in the cleaning department and atmosphere ( mostly around the dinning area) with stuff everywhere. The internal cabinets and immediate benches were very clean. No problems there. The place looks a bit cluttered though. No Covid restrictions in place. Lots of tables close together, and the hand sanitizer was half hidden behind some sort of merchandise. I only found it because I was actually looking for it. And it's halfway into the shop, not out front in clear view. We stopped in for a Kit Kat chiller?. My husband liked this, but as it had little bits of kit Kat all through it, I found it hard to swallow untill I'd crunched up the little bits first. Personally not a fan. Now if they had just popped 1/2 a Kit Kat into the top of the drink or sprinkled some crushed kit Kat over the top of the cream, I would have been a happy camper. After all its just Choc. Just my personal preference.

Was there on a Wednesday afternoon. The service was very slow. Our drinks order was wrong, and we didn't receive enough napkins.... or maybe to be environmentally friendly we were meant to share them?!?

Really well trained friendly staff SHAME ABOUT THE RUDE BOSS THAT HAS NO IDEAS OF GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE- good on you girls for making HIS BUSINESS SHINE ️ this Unfriendly bossy GAY MAN boss who Ive observed him talking down to the customer (me- I tried to be polite to him and he just looked down his nose at me) - AND particularly on the beautiful girls who’s delightful service completely offsets him beings so FAR up his own arse’ ! Yes I was appalled at the way he was speaking to everyone... Keep him out and your business will thrive ... anybody else notice this BOSS with really bad service ATTITUDE and NO respect to his own staff and CUSTOMERS ARE SECONDARY TO Himself .. Hope you read this BOSS.. People are noticing your whole attitude is ALL ABOUT YOU... not even a friendly customer can get a good reaction- I will avoid buying coffee when he is going to serve me- and have now not bought coffee because he was absolutely so rude ...

Nice flavoured iced coffee, salted caramel. Little slow, but to be expected on a Sunday lunch time. Good place for a quick in and out, but there's plenty of good options in town for a quick take away coffee of much better taste and quality
