Nature and History next to each other quiet town with friendly people town. Enjoyed couple of hours resting next to the lake and enjoying its view.

Love this park.. love the old machinery and the old steam train.. hard to find one so accessible these days.. and a lovely river near by.. also have a look at the bats across the river.

Lovely overnight stay. Excellent/clean facilities .. toilets. Nice walk around the lake. Lots of trees for shade but cockatoo noise might put some off. Flying fox colony on opposite side of creek. Grassy spots available but can b a little dusty. Became a bit of a race track for one local on our stay so dusty as hell but would not deter us from staying again. Thank you Apex.
