Left a message for a return call shortly after 9am. Was told that someone would return my call after a meeting 30 minutes later. No reply at all after having hours to reply. Tried calling to leave a message, however there answering machine has a scripted message and then hangs up. Great from a company where buggies are in excess of 2200 and wont answer to warranty issues.

My brand new car worked well for about 3 rounds and now I find myself begging for support since the end of June. It takes them weeks to answer emails, the repair process is a guessing game. I’m in the US and it looks like the only resource MGI has in the US is a second hand electric carts dealer, who is a guy who can not have a business conversation nor can he answer basic questions about his own service. It is a shame, the carts are good looking, they seem strong but the company’s support procedures are not up to standards. I have spoken to Neil, Leigh, Ron and others :(

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON MGI BUGGIES I purchased an MGI Navigator 2.5 years ago. It has always been looked after until it stopped mid-round while still under warranty. An MGI repairer investigated the fault and reported that the internal circuits had water damage as well as the battery. Cost of repair will be approx. 1,000. The buggy has never been used for any other use than what it is intended - moving a golf bag around a golf course in all weather conditions. NOTHING listed on the MGI products states not to use the buggy in inclement weather. It has never been submerged (accidentally) in a body of water, hosed/washed with water yet somehow the quality of manufacturing has allowed water to enter it and leave it inoperable. National Service Manager Guy Galagedara was contacted and advised that the buggy is designed to be protected by a golf bag and or umbrella in inclement conditions. This has always been the case. MGI has a blanket policy that they do not warrant against water damage. It appears the quality of the product is sub-standard and not made/manufactured/designed to be used for what it is intended. Nothing in the design of the buggy prevents water entry into the unit from flicking up from the wheels or maneuvering across wet ground/grass. Unless you intend to play in dry conditions and can ensure you are not caught in unforeseen rain conditions, the product is useless and a complete waste of money. MGI will not listen to what you have to say and not warrant against any unintentional water damage.

I recently purchased a 2nd Hand MGI Zip Navigator Buggy and before taking it to the fairways, I thought that I would get it looked over by the experts at MGI Golf @ Nunawading, Vic who I have used before for the servicing of other MGI products that I have owned. The service at MGI Golf @ Nunawading is nothing short of exceptional, from the time you are greeted at the front desk by Rachelle, who assisted with booking in the service and the purchase of some additional items and then when you hand over your equipment to Andrew to service and repair items as required. Andrew again went above and beyond with the servicing of this unit and I was thrilled to see how great a shape it came back in and the positive details of its condition and battery charge. Both Rachelle and Andrew are a credit to MGI Golf and I will continue to be a loyal customer of this company due to the level of service that they provide to the golfing community. Well Done and Thanks David

After a couple of years of regular use, my dad's navigator buggy's charger clonked out. Went to replace the charger but turns out they don't make/sell it anymore so we had to buy a new battery and charger. The service we received was super friendly and professional and we were given 100 off because they no longer stocked our charger. Great products, great service

In response to delivering a superceded MGI Golf Buggy to the MGI service centre in Melbourne I was later informed that I would confront a 250 fee for any repair to the buggy in spite of service centre personnel telling me that there would no significant extra labour for this job.. The response of the manager to whom I was referred was off hand.I was told "that's how it is" and retailers would not worry about such a potential fee for any MGI product because they would "want me to buy a new one anyway" I found the attitude of the manager offensive. I regard such a blanket fee inappropriate. I accept that extra pro-rata charges may apply to individual parts or extra work as is normally required. Potential clients of MGI should be aware of possible excessive inappropriate fees charged to repair to pre-dated buggy models and of the offensive attitude of MGI managerial staff.

This buggy deserves more than a 5 star rating. Simple to use, robust with easy to control variable speeds. Makes golf enjoyable whether it’s a flat or undulating course. The easy to attach lightweight lithium battery is such an improvement on previous models. Folds away so simply for transporting in a vehicle. Highly recommended. Colin

I received the MGI Zip Navigator for my birthday. It changes your game completely! I have had other battery operated buggies in the past, however the remote makes it so easy to get around the course. Will take a few games to get totally in control, but very happy with my purchase.
