I ordered a bulk bag of plum slate some months ago and was extremely happy with the service and delivery from this company. The bag arrived on time and was by far the best value I could find for delivery in my area. I also felt the delivery driver was very helpful and had no problem placing the bag in the area of my choice. I have nothing but positive comments for this company and praise them for their service in very difficult time, especially considering the current shortage in building materials and aggregates due to the current pandemic.

Many people only review after a poor experience but I believe that everyone should be aware of my very positive experience. Aggregates Direct were, by far, the best value for money I could find (even with delivery costs). They made ordering easy and delivered on the day they promised, early on in the day as well, which was good. I would have no hesitation in using Aggregates Direct again.

Delivery arrived 1 hour before it was meant to 5* driver was really helpful and got it as close to the back garden as he could 5* very quick on replies via email 5* price is by far the best I’ve found on the internet for 20mm Cotswold stone 5* . Would highly recommend to anyone

I ordered on Wednesday eve and was delivered by 9am on Friday. The delivery driver was really helpful, I had a bill before my drive and he tied to get the pallets up there but we couldn’t in the end. Couldn’t have asked for better delivery. The product was good also. I was a bit wary of the reviews on here being so low (only saw them after I ordered) but I can say that my experience was very positive.

I always write positive reviews and it’s a shame I have had such a bad experience that I have to write this review. After paying 172.80 for delivery which is the highest I have come across in industry for an order of 280.50 of aggregate. Usually a higher delivery charge is reflected in higher service......not in this case. Passed from pillar to post between courier company and aggregates direct in neither accepting accountability for essentially costing me 3 men’s wages for waiting around all day when they promised the material timing. This cost me a bad review and a customer that needed the job done within a certain timeframe which I could not deliver due to the service I received. Essentially I should have listened more to the bad reviews that this company have instead of giving them the chance against the odds. You can’t deliver a professional service if you are working with amateurs and I certainly will not be working with them again after being let down on 2 separate occasions. They got their money, the customer in the end got the job.....I didn’t get paid full amount as I had to discount and got a bad review all because I made the mistake of using a substandard company that cannot deliver what they promised.
