This is a footpath that takes you around an area that was once part of an active quarry and canal wharf, and is part of the Quarryman's Walk. If you look closely, you'll find stone sculptures that were once intended to be part of a sculpture trail. This stretch is far from the best part of the Quarryman's Walk, but it does take you close to the offside of the Coventry Canal, and you get to see some of what remains of the old quarry. The Quarryman's Walk also takes you through Hartshill Hayes, around the edge of what was once Jees Quarry, through Windmill Hill Nature Area, past Springwood Haven Marina, over the River Anker near Caldecote Hall, through the fields from Caldecote back to Hartshill, and also includes a short walk along the Coventry Canal. Be aware that this stretch includes a steep hill that can be a bit of a grind if you're walking towards Hartshill Recreation Ground on Grange Road.
