Had one experience while blocking a second hand car. The person mentioned that he would take the car off the market if I paid an advance. The agreement was that I should get back in a few days time and he will refund it if I couldn't find finance. I was in touch over emails to indicate by when I will be able to get back to him and finally when I could not find finance on time, I requested him to maintain his part of the bargain. He did not. I tried desperately to get in touch with him. He either avoided my calls or did not reply to emails. Finally he told me over one call, that many people came to see the car and he lost business because of me! I was left stunned. The business should have either contacted me or drawn a line for waiting somewhere. They did neither. I was told I will get my money in a week. It has been two weeks since. I do not think I am going to get back my refund. At least this review could serve as a warning to others to be cautious while doing business with Midland Road Car Sales, Nuneaton. Be wary and get everything in writing. I lost my money despite having a mutual friend connecting me to this garage; think about it!

I bought a Peugeot 3008 from Midland Road Garage and I couldn't be happier, the vehicle was exactly as described on the website and the customer service was spot on, very helpful and friendly service all round.

my dad bought a peugeot 308 in oct 2015 on finance with 2yr warranty in the first 3 days the problems started new temp sensor needed which they replaced 1 mth later rocker cover needed replaceing 3 weeks later cam chain needed doing all so had to have new discs and pads also the car smokes heavy when warm numerous trips and and calls to the garage about it smoking and he just got fob off with theres nothing wrong with it. this time at a cost of 200 we got a peugeot dealer to strip and investigate the issue to be told oil stem seals had gone and would cost around 3k to fix now. as he had a warranty he phone john beavon up and explained the situation to be told wasnt his problem . so why give a 2yr warrenty. all i can say is avoid this garage as he will not warrant any expensive repairs.
