Just enjoyed a Lockdown-friendly takeaway Sunday lunch from the Horse & Jockey: it was delicious and generously proportioned. All three of us enjoyed it, including one veggie. Very much looking forward to being able to eat and drink in the pub again, as it's long been one of our local favourites.

Covid measures in place here were excellent when I went last week. I decided to sit outside to eat but mainly because my boots were so muddy. The staff who served me were really friendly and helpful. Food was tasty and the tea was just what I needed after a five mile walk, restored me for the next three miles! I have had to install covid secure measures where I work, and it is hard to execute, they've done a great job and hopefully will manage through the next lockdown.

Together with friends, we enjoyed a lovely meal at the stylish Horse & Jockey, whilst travelling through the area. We selected a variety of Starters & Mains from the menu, all of which were ample & tasty...The pies were delicious, the staff were friendly & welcoming. This venue is well worth a visit, we could not recommend it enough!

Great meals as always, but do tell your waitresses to tie their hair back and learn how to service a table between courses. Asked twice for water with our meal to accompany other beverages. Cutlery placed anywhere for deserts and generally a service that doesn't reflect the high quality of the meals.

We have been here a few times and everytime the service and the food is top. We have 2 members of the family who are gluten free. They are always accommodating and willing to find out of they are unsure
