We have been using Brookdale Home Health Services for several months their therapist Holly was amazing recently dad had to go to the hospital for a few weeks we made all the arrangements to resume the Home Health Services with Brookdale when he returned to his assisted living facility unfortunately all of the promises made by Brookdale home health of resuming services were empty as they are having staffing issues and cannot fulfill their schedules Advice we've had to go without services for over a week possibly more and start all over with someone new Communication from Brookdale Home Health was very poor concerning the perimeter of the changes and very little concern or assistance was offered to find services for my dad Even the director of Dad's assisted living facility was unaware that this was happening So now begins The Serch to track down the previous therapist who were wonderful as they look for employment elsewhere Meanwhile the patient goes without services and has to do all the hard work all over again Thanks for nothing Brookdale Home Health really poorly handled

Everyone I spoke with was very sweet very kind all had good intentions. However, they suffer from a lack of organization and a very poor communication level between evaluators and hands-on providers. For example, the PT assistant who showed up today did not receive any kind of guidance or information regarding the four positions that my aging mother should avoid due to a partial hip replacement! No mention of avoiding range of motion exercises and what those might look like. That puts the most vulnerable patient at risk of re-injury and another admission into the hospital which at this age never goes well.
