I got a triple piercing on my right nostril by Bacchus a month ago today and I love it so much. My healing process has been good and Bacchus tells you everything you need to know with healing. Honestly, no one would have been able to do it perfectly and aligned the way he did! He truly is the best of the best with piercings and is very very clean. I’ve been to piercing places before that are more aggressive and in and out with their customers. Bacchus really took his time with laying out his tools, reassuring me that everything would be fine, and sanitized everything. I called so many places in New York asking if they could what I wanted but all of the refused. Bacchus told me easily he could do it and showed me the other triple piercings he did in the past. A lot of these piercers aren’t artist and Bacchus showed me the importance of artistry with piercings. I recommend him for any piercing especially the difficult ones, you don’t want to get an infection or have it looking crazy. This is your body and you should spend on the quality. I believe if I went somewhere else, it would’ve been crooked, and infected. I am definitely getting all my piercings from him and no one else.

I came here to get a medium sized flower piece done to cover up some scars I had on my wrist. I’m pretty much a virgin when it comes to tattoos and let’s just say this was the perfect place. My tattoo artist, Angie, made me feel so comfortable. She was extremely warm hearted and kind but also professional and talented. She took her time on my piece and made sure it was perfect. I am so grateful to have had her cover up my scars for me as it was a really huge moment for me getting this tattoo. Thank you NYC TATTOO and thank you Angie for your amazing work. Keep up the good work and I will DEFINITELY be back for more work and will be requesting Angie!

I was tatted by Frankie and she did an amazing job! She was super sweet and detail-oriented, I love the end result so much! If you’re looking to get tattooed, this place is a great choice and make sure to ask for Frankie :)

I want to start off this review by saying that I’ve never been so disappointed by a service that i felt the need to write a review until now. By far the worst tattoo experience I’ve had and I never even got as far as getting the tattoo! Booked an appointment 4 days in advance and showed up a few minutes early for the appointment just to be told I’d have to wait almost 2 hours later than my scheduled appointment time! Also the store was so small that everyone was sardined into the front or having to wait outside! And a few employees walked around without masks in the store. Definitely not Covid safe! I also sat in the store for 20 minutes before I was ever greeted. Literally sat in the store with for 20 MINUTES without as much as a “hello.” The staff was so unfriendly and unprofessional it was really a disappointment.

I wanted a quick, simple tattoo on my visit to NYC, with plans to get one every time I come back until move here someday. Frankie was awesome! She took a simple template and made it pop with some sick shading! It’s exactly what I pictured.

Made an appointment a couple weeks ago for their flash special. I went with two friends and all of our appointments were for 11am-11:30am, we got there at 11 and there was a line forming outside. It wasn’t until about 11:30am that someone from the shop showed up. The first group ahead of us went in and started getting checked in, so we went in a few mins later and sat there for several minutes with no one saying a word to us. Than finally, an artist comes over and tells us to write our names, phone number and appointment times down on a piece of paper. She said we needed to leave and they would call us back when it was our turn. What was the point of an appointment then, if you’re not going to be able to take us at our appointment times? It wasn’t until almost 3pm that we got a call back. Super unprofessional. I could understand if it was a first come first serve, but no, we had appointments. My tattoo overall was fine, I was nervous because right before I got mine done, I watched the artist doing someone else’s and she DROPPED THE TATTOO GUN ON THE GROUND, and I am pretty sure just picked it right back up had kept using it. So overall my tatt is cute, but I will never go back to this shop again.

Brutally Honest Review: I originally came here after I saw the flash-sale on Instagram and saw the page had a ton of followers and looked legit, which I later found out they have almost every month, it seemed like a way to get people in-and-out. Regardless, me and my girlfriend made an appointment on a Saturday and arrived on time, we waited about 2-3 hours before someone finally came up to us. The wait was extremely long but Alise made our experience worth the wait, she was understanding and knew what she was doing, she was also the friendliest out of all of the artists there. The pictured tattoo was done by Alise, although I love the piece, a couple weeks after it was fully healed I saw there were a couple of line breaks and the tattoo looks faded compared to my other tattoos I’ve gotten elsewhere. I have plenty of tattoos including large pieces so I know how to properly take care of it, based on other tattoos I’ve seen done at this shop I think the issue comes down to the ink they use. I don’t think the wait is worth it again so I’m getting it touched up elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend getting anything intricate here, only small “flash” tattoos. I wish they had a better appointment system which they actually followed and perhaps a front desk person to take care of guests instead of waiting for an artist to finish their work to then go take the next person like clockwork, it felt very rushed and impersonal.

In all honesty, if I didn’t love the job that Ryan did so much, I probably would’ve docked another star or two off just for the wait. I came here to get a pretty special tattoo done, and I was so excited that I didn’t want to leave even if it meant waiting over 4 hours just to get a cost estimate. I get it, they were doing a sale on flash tattoos and it was a Saturday. Of course there were going to be a ton of people coming in to take advantage of the 88 special. My appointment was at 1:45, and I got there about 5 minutes beforehand. When I checked in, I was told they were running a little behind and that I could run out and grab some coffee and they’d call me when it was my turn. Since all tattoos took varying amounts of time to complete, there was no definite amount of waiting time before my turn, so it was a bit difficult to gauge how much time I’d be spending on my phone in the meantime. I live on the UES in Manhattan and had taken a bus and train, so understandably, I didn’t want to go back home to wait in case I got called back. If only I knew I not only could’ve gone home but also had time to take a quick nap. Regardless, all the artists were great. I had Ryan do my piece, and he was super nice and accommodating. I could tell that he really cared about getting my tattoo done right, and I appreciated his professional advice when discussing the placement and sizing of my piece. He was very light handed and even explained some tattoo physics to me. Conversation was easy, which helped me take my mind off of the fact that there was a needle going in and out of my skin. The process was very comfortable, and I love the finished product.
